Popular web publication house AllThingsD recently reported that Apple is all set to launch the new iPhone 5S on September 10th at an especial event.
Many websites were
reporting that Apple would organize an event in somewhere in early September in
order to announce the new iPhone 5S, and most probably a new iPad or two. But
the exact date was unknown prior to this report. It seems like all Apple lovers
across the world have finally found a date to circle on their calendars, as it
looks like a long wait is finally paying off.
There are rumors that the
company might unveil the low-cost iPhone
5C too at the event, which has been solely developed to attract the middle
class people all over the world. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the
company that whether there would be any iPads or iPhone 5C at the event or not.
It is worthy enough to be
added here that previously we have seen that Apple has a tendency to keep the
iPhone and iPad launches separate. So according to a few market analysts the
company will launch the iPhone 5S, a few new iPods, and the iPhone 5C at the
event. But it is not likely unveil the new iPad Mini at the same time.
The highlighting part is
that the launch is very much crucial for the most valuable company of the world
considering the present scenario. It’s true that Apple has continued to mint
fair amounts of money from
the sales of its iPhones, but the company’s global market share is also dipping
due to the rise of Android devices. The company is also facing an intense and
outrageous battle with archrival Korean electronics giant Samsung.
As per sources, this time Apple is looking forward to capture the
emerging markets of mid-range smartphones. In order to do so it is developing a new
low-cost iPhone, and planning to launch it alongside whatever update it has for
the iPhone 5. It has to be mentioned here that Apple has already started to woo
the middle class people by offering its outdated devices (that had launched a
year or two back) for $100 and $200 less than a new iPhone.
It is quite obvious that the new phones will be running on the new iOS 7, which was introduced at Apple’s developer conference in June 2013.
Apple’s new mobile operating system is having several improved features such as
updated notifications, modified photo-organizing abilities, and a few much
needed additional capabilities for developers. It seems like the camera and
processor enhancements are also coming with the update.
Wrap Up
So Apple will be launching the new
iPhone 5S on September 10th of this year only. Personally
I’m more excited for the launch of its low-cost iPhones, as it will be a new
type opf innovation for the US-based company.
