Chinese company Huawei Technologies has announced that it is going through the
development process of fifth generation
(5G) technology, which is expected to be available for the use of common
people by the end of 2020 only.
The company added that currently a team of 200 people is handling the
project, and the company is actively sponsoring the whole process. However, it
declined to reveal the details about the expected funding amount that is likely
to be spent for the development of 5G technology.
The team is adopting various research and development procedures in
order to come up with the success, and provide the world an ultra-fast connectivity
option. Huawei is already known for its technical brilliance, and it wants to
establish the term more significantly this time.
Mr. Wen Tong, the official
representative of Huawei Technologies, said that according to their
calculations there will be more than a billion connections around the whole
world by 2020, and 5G technology may provide massive connectivity to speed it
up.
Every sector of this world
is moving fast, especially the technology section. Every other day some
companies or some special guys are coming up with exceptionally advanced
features. A Chinese institution has developed a 100-megapixel camera, where a Finnish firm developed face-recognition payment system.
It has
to be added here that the 5G technology will surely provide a fibre network like user
experience for the common people on a mere wireless network connection. This
will be great indeed, especially for the youths who love speed and hustle free
internet activity.
The cool fact is that it can deliver speed of
10 Gbps, which is more than 100 times faster than the current mobile
technologies that are used in present days. With the help of this technology
you may download a whole movie in few seconds only. Just imagine friends how
cool will it be?
Earlier we have seen that South Korean giant Samsung has tested 5G technology successfully,
which will be fully ready to use for commercial roll-out by 2020. Now Huawei
has joined the list too by announcing its own plan of action towards this
advanced connectivity technology.
We should mention here that the current trend
of various leading Mobile operators across the globe is to adopt the high-speed
long term evolution (LTE) or 4G networks
completely. Huawei delivers equipment and tech support to 85 such networks.
A reputed web publication house reported that
the Taiwan based company is also developing a trial test run in order to check
out the speed on its own 4G technology on high speed MagLev train in Shanghai.
Huawei has provided a LTE network to deliver
all the needed wireless connectivity support on the train. The train generally
runs between the centres of the Shanghai district to the International Airport.
The railway track is around 31km long, and the train can clock 431 km per hour
speed with success.
The company claimed that with that much of
speed its dedicated 4G technology
can easily deliver a download speed of up to 50 Mbps.
