Nokia might be developing its new Lumia
series phone with Quad-Core
processor. In last few days we have noticed that the Finland-based company
launched three brand new smartphones in a very short span of time
in its Lumia line up in order to expand its overall market reach.
As per reports, after
unveiling phones like Lumia 925,
Lumia 1020 and Lumia 625, now the company is focusing on developing the Lumia 825, which is expected to sport a
5.2-inch display screen. A Chinese Media recently reported that Nokia is preparing its
first ever phablet, the Lumia 825, and this device will feature Windows Phone 8
GDR3 update.
The report mentioned that Microsoft is
very much likely to release the upcoming GDR3 update solely developed for
Windows Phone 8 users soon. The update is expected to enable the much-needed support
for quad-core processors and full-HD resolutions on the Windows Phone platform.
According to some latest rumors the Nokia Lumia 825 is
the successor to the Lumia 820, which was introduced by the handset making
company alongside its former flagship device the Lumia 920. The Chinese media
even added that the rumored Lumia 825 will be mid-range smartphone, but still
it will boast 720pixels HD screen (not a full-HD display though).
The report claimed that the Lumia 825 is expected to be
powered by a quad-core processor, and the chipset of the device will likely to
be of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400, which is apparently clocked at 1.2GHz. Nokia
might be unveiling this upcoming Windows Phone in October 2013, the report
concluded.
Nokia is undoubtedly the main
source of producing quality Windows Phones, and it seems like finally the Windows
Phone smartphones are gathering some solid momentum by creating buzzes across
the whole world. The popularity of Nokia Lumia series phones prompted the
company to give more priority to this section, and it is surely paying off now.
Nokia is now looking forward to unveil its first ever
quad-core phone, which might be the next step for the company, as the Android and other platforms have
been offering this feature for a while now.
Nokia
has developed 8 smartphones powered by Windows Phone 8 till date, and all of
them are receiving good exposures over the worldwide smartphone market. Nokia
even stopped making Symbian smartphones to
prioritize Lumia devices such as the Lumia 1020, Lumia 625, Lumia 925, Lumia
920, Lumia 820, Lumia720, Lumia 620 and the Lumia 520.
We think Nokia’s
first Quad-Core smartphone Lumia 825 will add some special values to its
existing smartphones list, and it will be able to woo the users as well. What are
your thoughts on this topic? Do let us know.
In my point of view they are very late to doing this. because now a days smart phones with quad core is very common and everyone using mostly.
