The undisputed king of internet Google has planned to launch its 2nd
generation Nexus 7 tablet in India on November 12, 2013. This month of November is going to be
fun for the Indian users as along with the Nexus 7 (2013), Google is also
gearing up to launch the Nexus 5 smartphone in India in next two weeks only.
.If you regularly follow this blog then you should know that in the past
2-3 years India has become one of the most promising markets for tablets and
smartphones, and it seems that Google has finally started to admit it, and
that’s why it is now launching the finest products of its store in India at the
earliest.
TOI Tech recently published a report that according to some of their sources, the newly launched Nexus 7
tablet will be start retailing to the leading Indian stores on November 12,
along with its latest Nexus 5 Android smartphone. It has to be added here that
Google LG Nexus 5 has recently been launched in the markets of the United
States.
We think Google is launching the 2nd generation Nexus 7 model
in India at the very right time, as it will be able to gain some advantage as
currently there are no other serious competitions from the rival companies like
Apple and Samsung. This tablet is also among those few devices
which run on Android 4.3 Operating System.
However, Apple is very much likely to launch its iPad Mini with Retina
display feature and the new iPad Air very soon. So, basically Google will be
trying to increase the market share before the launch of these products. This
is indeed a very smart plan.
As per our best knowledge, the retail stores of India will only stock
Wi-Fi variants of the new Nexus 7 device. However, Google has already listed
both the Wi-Fi and 4G model of the tablet at its Indian version of the Google
Play Store.
As we’ve mentioned earlier at this post, the Nexus 5 smartphone is also
coming very soon, and it is very much possible that it will be launched along
with the Nexus 7 tablet on November 12 itself. Though, it is still not
confirmed, and there is a few serious speculation and uncertainty over the
exact launch date of this mobile phone. The official roll out of this phone
might be delayed to the end of the current month, added the TOI Tech report.
Google has already declared that very soon it will launch this
smartphone in India, and it has already been listed in Google Play Store India.
However, the exact launch date has yet not been revealed by the company.
The new Nexus 7 (2013) tablet is smartly priced at only Rs. 25,999 for
the 32GB Wi-Fi and 4G variant in Indian market, and the new Nexus 5 smartphone
will cost Rs 28,999 and Rs 32,999 for the 16GB and 32GB models in the Indian
local retail market.
All the prices are clearly mentioned at the official listing of the Play
Store, which is clearly indicating towards the fact that the potential buyers
will be able to own this device online from Google itself via the store. We
shouldn’t forget that the Nexus 4 model was not available online via Play Store
in India.
Wrap Up
Many tech experts have already admitted that the 2nd
generation Nexus 7 is still one of
the best Android tablets that are
currently available in the market, and now Google is launching it in India. It
is indeed great news, and it will surely enlighten the gadget loving Indians
with supreme joy.
Don't forget that Google still not launched the one year old tab, Nexus 10 in India, Don't polish Google, every body want the business?
