Swipe has introduced yet another tablet, and named it as the
MTV Slate to acknowledge its ongoing
association with MTV. The brand new tablet is priced at Rs. 14,999, and it is
expected to do well in the Indian market.
The Swipe MTV Slate sports a
gigantic 7.85-inch HD display (IPS), and its screen can easily offer resolution
of 1024*768 pixels. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System while
weighing only 400 grams. It is fully powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7
processor along with the additional support of 1GB RAM. It carries a 5-megapixel
rear shooter and a VGA front facing camera for self-imaging and video calling.
The new tablet offers 8GB
of internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 32GB with the help of a
microSD card. The tablet features the must-needed SIM card support to offer
voice calling and several other benefits. For connectivity purposes it has
advanced medium like Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and Bluetooth. This Android tablet is
backed up by a decent 3200mAh battery and it also has dedicated FM Radio with
recording facility.
