The proposed update will address some issues, which troubling its users
a lot since they chose to shift to the Windows 8 platform. Many users had
lodged some serious complaints at the official forum of the Microsoft. There
are so many confusions in that operating system, and so it had been also blamed
for deepening a slight slum in the sales of personal computer worldwide.
Microsoft has not yet revealed what kind features or changes will be
introduced to the user with the launch of the new system i.e. the update.
Microsoft is also planning to build a customized preview version to make it
available within next month. As per speculations around the web, the final
version is very much likely to go live just in time for the upcoming holiday
season.
Microsoft announced this whole thing at an investor’s conference that
took place in Boston on last Tuesday only. There was a serious buzz around this
news, and most of the experts welcomed the move graciously. Eventually Microsoft suspended Windows Phone 7.8 Upgrade temporarily
just a few days back.
It has to be added that the tech company’s main motto is to engage as
many users as possible to its Windows 8 OS, which it launched few months back.
Some of the users still prefer to use Microsoft XP or Windows 7 over it,
because of the simplicity and easy to use features of the previous versions.
The company has decided to make the previous versions costlier than the Windows
8, as it would surely boost up the shifting procedure.
Microsoft Corporation has declared the new of the coming update last
week, but it didn’t say a word whether consumers would have to pay for it or
not. So the buzz is that it will be available for absolutely free of cost, at
least for some days for sure.
The mentioned update had been previously codenamed as Blue, but now it
has an official moniker too, and it is Windows
8.1. We are hoping that with this new
update all the issues will be successfully resolved, and the users will be able
to enjoy their experiences on the new Windows 8 platform.
