This proves that Indian market is booming day by day in this category, which is attracting global giants like LG, Sony, Apple and Samsung towards it.
In February 2013 the company launched its flagship smartphone Optimus G with a price tag of Rs. 30,900 in order to take on the Samsung Galaxy S III, and now it has come up with its new Optimus G Pro to challenge the Galaxy Note II. Mr. Kwon hinted that LG is currently working on developing several other smartphones and tablets. The company is likely to unveil them by the end of next year. It has to be added here that currently LG does not compete in the tablet market, but few months back company’s Europe Vice President announced that it has a serious plan of developing fully Android supported tablets by the end of this running year only.
